Menswear Midweek Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a look at the menswear moments from this week. While some kept things classic, others reminded us that the men’s red carpet continues to offer plenty of variety.

Jaafar Jackson wore a Valentino Pre-Fall 2026 look by Alessandro Michele.

Wrap jackets have become something of a Michele signature, and Colman Domingo is a testament to that. This navy jacquard version was oozing elegance and old-world charm. The subtle floral texture added richness to the fabric, giving the monochrome look far more visual interest than a plain navy suit. His style is always impeccable.

Miles Caton wore a graphic-print shirt paired with Jaden Smith’s Christian Louboutin harness, Christian Louboutin The TCT I boots and tailored black trousers. The harness might be the dealbreaker for some, but here it felt like a natural extension of the outfit rather than a gimmick. After all, leather harnesses on the red carpet are nothing new.

Shaun Ross wore a look from Milan-based designer Anna Kiki from Looks For Lease.

This was unquestionably the week’s boldest menswear moment. The oversized quilted silhouette transformed Shaun into a walking sculpture, blurring the line between fashion, costume and performance art. It won’t appeal to everyone, aside from Missy Elliot of course, but Shaun has never been one to conform to conventional dressing. This is what I must look like when I’m in my sauna blanket.

Young Washington, D.C. Screening

William Franklyn-Miller opted for Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello once again, this time ditching the jacket, as you would during a heatwave, allowing the trio of stripes from the Fall 2026 collection to have even more impact. This is one way to freshen up a familiar look.

CELINE Men’s Spring/Summer 2027 Show

Dan Levy’s look captured the sharp, minimalist direction Celine has embraced under Michael Rider. The look felt clean and confident, while the oversized ring belt added just enough personality without disrupting the monochrome palette. It was simple, but every element earned its place.

23,000 Leben Munich Premiere

When I think of Prada menswear, sharp tailoring immediately springs to mind, but Louis Hofmann showed how the house can make classic menswear feel modern through proportion alone. The generously cut grey trousers managed to not appear comically oversized.

Evil Dead Burn Fan Event

Opting out of the thematic theatrics embraced by his co-star Luciane Buchanan, Hunter Doohan wore AMI PARIS. The black satin detailing created an elegant evening look that felt equally appropriate for the occasion.

Prime Video’s Obsession Session Weekend

After wearing Calvin Klein for the main event, Stephen Kalyn’s Burberry look had an easy off-duty sensibility that felt so fresh. If you didn’t recognise Burberry from the checked jacket, then the Rider belt with its polished metal Equestrian Knight Design buckle would have been the next clue.

The Odyssey Miami Photocall

Matt Damon made his first appearance promoting The Odyssey wearing a look from the Brunello Cucinelli Spring 2026 Menswear collection. No doubt it will be classic suits throughout this press tour for the actor, so seeing him embrace a more relaxed look that felt appropriate for the Miami setting was a welcome change of pace.
