Marion Cotillard Wore Chanel To The 2026 ‘Nouvelles Vagues’ International Biarritz Film Festival
Marion Cotillard attended the opening red carpet of the 4th Nouvelles Vagues International Biarritz Film Festival in France on Monday, continuing her long relationship with Chanel in a look from the house’s Pre-Fall 2026 collection.
This is one of those looks that immediately triggers déjà vu, as Sarah Pidgeon wore the same waistcoat earlier this year, styling it with black trousers. That comparison is difficult to ignore because it highlights how dramatically the choice of trousers alters the entire look.
Marion opted for the runway’s beige trousers, which certainly offer a fresher interpretation and preserve the collection’s original colour palette. However, for me, the combination loses some of the definition that made the look so successful on Sarah.
The beige tones merge with the feathers, causing the lower half to feel less distinct and slightly diluting the impact of the embellishment above.
