Kaia Gerber Wore Calvin Klein Collection To The Summer Uni Party
Kaia Gerber co-hosted the Summer Uni Party with Alexandra Keating, founder of We Are Uni, in Los Angeles on Thursday, and if you’ve been searching for summer garden party inspiration, your search may well be over.
The model wore the Calvin Klein Collection Henrietta backless mini dress from the brand’s Spring 2026 collection.
The clean architectural shape, open back and barely-there straps gave the dress an effortless ease, while the matching headscarf was the detail that made the look memorable. I’m so glad she kept it. Without the scarf, this would have been a beautiful white mini dress. With it, the look gained personality and a distinct point of view.
If you’re experiencing a sense of déjà vu, you may be thinking of Renate Reinsve, who wore the full-length version to the 2026 European Film Awards, or perhaps Hunter Schafer’s memorable Prada headscarf moment at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival.
I wasn’t convinced by Renate’s outing. The dress never quite settled on her frame, and the relaxed nature of the design felt at odds with the formality of the event. Kaia’s version works because the setting matches the spirit of the look. A summer party in Los Angeles calls for something light, easy and unfussy, and that’s exactly what this delivered.
The styling also played its part. Kaia is usually drawn to minimalist sandals and mules, but the chunky white pumps reinforced the clean lines of the dress while ensuring the outfit didn’t drift too far into beachside territory.
