Demi Moore Wore Gucci To The ‘Fjord’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Demi Moore attended the Fjord premiere during the Cannes Film Festival this evening.

And she gave us one of the fastest runway-to-red-carpet turnarounds I can remember from a Resort collection, because this dramatic feathered asymmetrical Gucci look was only just presented during the Gucci Resort 2027 show in New York on Saturday.

What made this feel even more exciting is that it offered something entirely different from Demi’s usual Cannes formula. We have seen plenty of gowns from her recently, so the combination of the sweeping feathered top and the part-suede, part-satin trousers felt like a genuine switch-up instead of another variation on Old Hollywood glamour. It still carried the same level of drama, just through a more fashion-forward lens.

Chopard jewels upheld the glamour, although I have to admit I was irrationally bothered by the sunglasses. Maybe it is because the oversized shield shape instantly taps into that Demna-era Balenciaga energy which still gives me PTSD. I’m more accustomed to seeing that styling choice on Isabelle Huppert, who has fully made it part of her fashion identity.
