How Chase Infiniti’s Met Gala Glow Came Together

Celebrity makeup artist Amber Dreadon and hairstylist Coree Moreno approached Chase Infiniti’s Met Gala beauty look from two different angles, but both focused on the same goal: light, glow, and healthy texture that translated under flash photography.

Skincare

For the skin, Amber turned to Curél Japanese Skincare to build hydration from the start. The prep focused heavily on barrier support and layering moisture into the skin so the makeup would sit naturally rather than look heavy. She began with the Deep Moisture Spray to refresh and boost hydration, followed by the Hydrating Water Essence pressed into the skin to rebalance and soften. The Intensive Moisture Facial Cream was then massaged in using a facial roller to lock in nourishment and create that smooth, supple finish that makes foundation look seamless. To prep the under-eye area, she applied the Moisture Repair Eye Cream, helping concealer sit cleanly without creasing.

Makeup

Once the skin was fully prepped, Armani Beauty products were used to create the makeup look. Fluid Sheer Glow Enhancer 2 and Luminous Silk Foundation 6 delivered that luminous, skin-like finish, while Luminous Silk Concealer 4.5 and 5.75 added brightness and definition without flattening the complexion. On the eyes, Beauty Eye Tint shades 44S and 18M created a soft wash of shimmer and depth, paired with Eyes To Kill Classico Mascara for definition. The cheeks combined Luminous Silk Cheek Tint 63, Aqua Highlighter 1, Glow Blush 11 and Bronzing Powder 11 to create warmth and dimension that still looked natural under the Met Gala lights. Lips were finished with Lip Power Lipstick in shade 102 topped with Prisma Lipgloss 08 for a glossy nude finish.

And after the gala? Amber planned to remove everything with Curél’s Foaming Facial Wash, proving that good skin maintenance matters just as much after the makeup comes off.

Hair

For the hair, Coree Moreno wanted volume, softness, and light reflection over overly defined curls. “Think editorial, not wash-and-go,” he explained. Using Briogeo throughout, he prepped the hair with the Don’t Despair, Repair! shampoo and conditioner before layering in the Miracle Mist, Curl Charisma Leave-In Defining Crème, and Style + Treat Full Miracle Styling Foam at the roots for lift.

The hair was stretched dry on low speed to maintain fullness, while a small curling wand was used selectively on both Chase’s natural hair and extensions to blend the texture together. Instead of tight curl definition, the roots were picked out to create a bigger, rounded shape with movement. To finish, Coree applied Briogeo Style + Treat Supreme Shine Strengthening Oil through the ends for added shine and softness.
