Celebrities in Louis Vuitton at the 2026 Met Gala

The Met Gala has always carried a strong Louis Vuitton presence on the red carpet, but the house dressed only four celebrities this year, notably excluding its newest ambassador, Chase Infiniti.

Sculpted In Leather

Hoyeon delivered the strongest interpretation of the theme from this group in a custom black leather look, featuring a fitted bodysuit layered beneath a structured bustier gown with a sweeping train. The cage-structured overskirt, detailed with leather flowers, leaned into the “Costume Art” theme by turning construction into decoration. Louis Vuitton High Jewelry completed her look.

Burgundy Layers

Alysa Liu wore a custom Louis Vuitton burgundy bustier gown with a voluminous, tiered skirt that added depth to the otherwise classic silhouette. Styled with matching satin pumps and a Pasquale Bruni Heart to Earth choker set with a ruby stone, the look was a cohesive finish, but I will struggle to take anything she wears seriously with that hair.

Raindrop Illusion

Tyriq Withers approached the theme through surface detail, with raindrop-inspired crystals scattered across his Louis Vuitton look, creating a subtle shimmer under the lights. The effect brings to mind Robert Wun’s Spring 2023 Couture collection. A custom Louis Vuitton mini metal trunk and black leather LV Rider boots kept the look rooted in the house codes.

Classic Tux

Jay-Z wore a Louis Vuitton peak-lapel tailcoat tuxedo, styled with a white flower brooch and black patent leather LV Premiere Oxfords, accompanying his wife and co-chair on the red carpet. The look stayed within classic formalwear territory, offering a refined but expected take for the evening.
