Chase Infiniti’s Thom Browne Met Gala Debut Look
Chase Infiniti made her Met Gala debut this year, and it’s one that will be remembered.

The Testaments actress, who has been on a strong run since her One Battle After Another press tour, might have been expected to continue her Louis Vuitton streak from awards season, but she pivoted to Thom Browne.
While we’ve seen iterations of the designer’s three-dimensional, body-mapped illusion on Rebecca Hall and Teyana Taylor, this version is entirely her own. The rainbow-hued sequins shifts the concept into something far more expressive, giving it a fresh perspective.

In the context of the “Costume Art” theme, this works. The dress doesn’t just follow the lines of the body, it redraws them, turning the figure into a surface for colour, texture, and pattern. The sequins create a painterly effect, as though the garment has been built stroke by stroke.
What I appreciate most is how this reworks the Thom Browne Spring 2026 idea into something that feels elevated for this setting. It retains the precision of the original concept while pushing it in a more vibrant direction, setting it apart from previous outings. Thom Browne has a strong track record at the Met Gala, and this sits comfortably within that.
