Kate Hudson Wore Sportmax On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Kate Hudson made a guest appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she spoke about looking forward to getting older, her Oscar nomination for Song Sung Blue, and working on the new season of her Netflix series Running Point.

Last week, she surprised us with a new direction in Khaite, stepping into a colour not often associated with her: black.

On this occasion, she returned to a softer palette, wearing a mint green draped dress from Sportmax’s Pre-Fall 2026 collection.

For me, this is classic Kate, and I love the styling. The gold Jessica McCormack ring, cuff, and gold Blade Interstellar pumps by Casadei complement the gold brooch on her shoulder and hip, tying the look together with a clear through line. However, the top left-hand side feels unresolved.

I can’t find a runway or lookbook image, but my first thought was that this was supposed to be a one-sleeve design, but then that would mean there would be too much fabric around the neckline.

It’s a strong colour choice and a familiar direction for her, but the construction leaves me undecided.
