Kate Hudson Wore Khaite To The TIME100 Gala

Kate Hudson was honoured at the TIME100 Gala as one of the 100 Most Influential People on Thursday in New York.

As you know, I am very much Team Kate in soft hues, but it’s abundantly clear that she is pivoting in a new direction style-wise – hence the move from Sophie Lopez, her long-time stylist, to Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn.

And while I do, in part, question the seasonality of this Khaite Fall 2026 look – the leather gloves more than anything else – I have to say I really love this for Kate.

Her Song Sung Blue press tour just didn’t make sense, but this elevated, understated look is far more intriguing. Minimalism with a point of view will always land, and these sculpted sleeves deliver exactly that.

Completing the runway styling with gold accessories, tights, and pumps, I have a feeling this may not be universally adored, but it’s perfectly executed for me.
