Audrey Nuna Wore Maison Margiela Artisanal To The 2026 Vanity Fair Oscar Party
Audrey Nuna’s style had us hooked at the start of awards season, but it did start to feel one-note as the Thom Browne looks kept circling back to the same uniform idea.
On Oscar night, however, she shifted the narrative. Not only for the main ceremony, but also at the 2026 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, where she wore a Maison Margiela Artisanal 2025 look that instantly grabbed my attention.
The draped skirt, crafted in aged-gold oscillating duchess woven with metal threads and printed to replicate 16th-century Flemish hand-painted and embossed floral leather wallpapers, is as rich in concept as it is in execution. Worn over a duchess satin corseted body, the look balances structure and fluidity.
What fascinates me most is how controlled the volume is. On someone so petite, this could have easily been quite overwhelming, yet the sculpting keeps everything precise, allowing the drama to sit exactly where it should.
We have seen many opt out of the runway mask, aside from Kim Kardashian, but Audrey did lean into it, even if only briefly for the photographers. That fleeting moment added to the full Margiela story.
This was exceptionally well executed and easily one of her strongest looks of the season.
