Considering the trio of Chanel moments we saw at The BRIT Awards courtesy of Harry Styles, Olivia Dean and Rosalía, I expected a similar showing from the house at the 2026 Actor Awards. Instead, that distinction fell solely to Rose Byrne.

The If I Had Legs I’d Kick You actress wore a Chanel Pre-Fall 2026 ecru embroidered silk crepe dress that leaned fully into romance. The delicate embellishment cascaded down the bodice before dissolving into soft pleats, creating a gentle, almost ethereal effect.

What has been most striking this awards season is her consistency. While much of the spotlight has focused on Teyana Taylor, Chase Infiniti and Renate Reinsve as the ones to watch, Rose has been steadily building a case of her own through refined, assured choices like this. She has avoided theatrics, opting instead for looks that feel considered from one appearance to the next.
