Rosalía was the winner of International Artist of the Year at The BRIT Awards on Saturday, and much like Olivia Dean, the Spanish singer had two looks.
When More Becomes Too Much
In this instance, I am going to say that two things can be true. First, Rosalía is holding her own in this Chanel Spring 2026 boa paired with a black silk skirt adorned with white feathers. Second, the look feels messy.
Compare this to the Balenciaga look she wore to the Los40 Music Awards Santander event last year, which had a similar concept, and it is clear how much this ensemble stumptifies her. I would not have expected Rosalía to wear the look exactly as it appeared on the runway, and I admire her for amplifying the drama for this stage, but I prefer how it was originally presented.
This was a case of either or when it came to the feathers. Top or bottom, a decisive edit was needed.
Red, Refined, And Ready To Celebrate
In the winner’s room, the red and black collage floral satin jacquard McQueen Spring 2026 slashed bustier dress was considerably less chaotic. It felt sharper and more controlled.
