Aimee Lou Wood Wore Atelier Versace To The 2026 Actor Awards

Aimee Lou Wood’s Vivienne Westwood at the Golden Globes and Emilia Wickstead at the BAFTAs were not my favourite looks from the British actress, so seeing her in Atelier Versace for the 2026 Actor Awards should have filled me with excitement, right?

Well, kind of.

Is this Aimee’s best look of the awards season so far? Yes, without question for me. But looking at her in this azure crepe satin and silk chiffon gown, I cannot shake the feeling that we’ve seen this countless times before.

There is nothing technically wrong here. The draping is elegant, the colour suits her, and it photographs beautifully. Yet I am left wanting that extra spark Atelier Versace used to deliver on instinct.

Beautiful, yes, but not enough to knock me off my feet based on the standard of Atelier Versace gowns I am used to. See every Angelina Jolie Atelier Versace look for reference, especially at the Golden Globes, and you will understand the benchmark that is always in mind.
