Angelina Jolie’s Best Atelier Versace Moments At The Golden Globe Awards

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Angelina Jolie's Best Atelier Versace Moments At The Golden Globe Awards

The Golden Globes take place on Sunday (January 6) – a little earlier than usual – but we’re not complaining as it will be the start of the fashion extravaganza that is awards season.

While my eye are going to be firmly honed in on Lady Gaga, there are others to be equally excited like Nicole Kidman, Rosamund Pike, Emily Blunt, Olivia Coleman, Charlize Theron, Constance Wu, Amy Adams, Claire Foy, Regina King, Emma Stone, Rachel Weisz, Rachel Brosnahan, Elisabeth Moss, Thandie Newton, Patricia Clarkson, Penelope Cruz and Julia Roberts.

We all know Emma Stone is going to Louis Vuitton, Charlize will wear Dior and Rosamund will probably wear Givenchy, but when it comes to the Globes, Angelina Jolie always springs to mind.

Mostly because some of her most epic moments in Atelier Versace have come from this ceremony.

All four were gorgeous, but I still remember how my body was engulfed with goosebumps when I saw her in the dazzling green number.

For me, her 2011 emerald dress is one of my all time favourite looks. It was just such a surprise to see her head to toe in such a vivid colour. Still love it!

I remember Anne Hathaway also looked gorgeous that year in a back bare sequined design similar to hers.

Actually 2011 remains one of my favourite Golden Globes red carpets.

I think you are right 2011 was an epic year for the Globes. Not sure it has peaked since.

      Last year ZZzzzz

I am not sure which dress corresponds to each year? I like the green, she looks amazing in emerald. Oscars she wore a black dress with emerald jewelry and it’s one of my fave classic looks of all time bc it’s jusf so her colour

To be honest, I never understood all the fuss about the 2011 look. 2012 however is one of her best looks ever.

2012…..I remember being in awe of that one. Still am.
She was so (unusual for her) bright and colourful. and so sexy! Love it always!

This green Versace is one of the most iconic looks ever.

I went for the regality of 2018, but like ’12 and ’11 as well. ’09 works well in the context of the time but oh well.

2012. The last look is a mess.

2011’s green was spectacular! But I would love to see her in an Armani Prive this year

The green atelier coupled with her Yellow dress at Cannes (I think) were imo her best looks ever

I think her nude gown at Cannes in 2009 was her best look ever.

2012 & 2011 are both amazing!! Probably her best red carpet looks ever.
2018 was pretty cool as well, though.

    2012 easily.

In hindsight, I strongly dislike the other looks.

Love the classic glamour she serves up. Torn between the bewitching green and the timeless pink. Also a big NO! in advance to all the atrocities Louis Vuitton will send down the red carpet this award season.

I voted for the 2012 because I thought it was next level with the red foldover but now I think I didn’t appreciate how beautiful she looked in the green, it really brings out her eye colour.
