Priyanka Chopra Wore Gaurav Gupta Couture To ‘The Bluff’ LA Premiere After-Party
You weren’t entirely sold on Priyanka Chopra’s custom Antoinette Messam look for The Bluff LA premiere, but she offered a completely different energy for the after-party.

She wore a saffron-hued Gaurav Gupta Spring 2026 Couture saree gown, crafted from fluid chiffon and built around a corseted foundation anchored by a sculpted wrap bodice, which unfolded into soft pleats and an extended veil-like drape from The Divine Androgyne collection.
It’s not often we hear a celebrity speak in such detail about their red carpet choices, but this look clearly carried personal meaning. She shared the following on Instagram: “Wearing this is an ode to Ercell Bodden, my character in The Bluff. In the opening of the film, she appears with a dupatta over her head, a subtle but meaningful marker of identity and strength.
I love a saree. And when I saw this piece walk down the couture runway last month, it felt like a saree with a modern twist. We immediately called Gaurav and asked him to hold it for me.
There’s a quiet power in its simplicity. The precision of the tailoring, the way it drapes and moves, felt both rooted and forward-looking, and the bright yellow is so synonymous with the colourful palette of India.
To me, this piece is a testament to the growing global scope of Indian fashion and how beautifully our heritage continues to evolve.”

I found this insight fascinating, as the look was chosen with clear narrative intent tying together character, heritage and colour symbolism.

And considering the film centres on pirates, the look was styled with a Judith Leiber treasure chest clutch which was a literal but playful nod to the theme.
