Celebrities at the ‘Wuthering Heights’ London Photocall
Before tonight’s highly-anticipated London premiere for Wuthering Heights, the cast gathered at Spencer House for the photocall, joining a Galliano-clad Margot Robbie.

Breaking The Bottega Uniform
Jacob Elordi breaks his Bottega Veneta run wearing Bode, and this is the most symbolic look of the press tour so far for him. Let’s start with the historical lens of this Bode welder jacket. Bode has a practice of elevating workwear, honouring labour, class displacement, and garments shaped by lived experience. The welder silhouette, rooted in mid-century industrial uniforms, speaks to Heathcliff’s social marginalisation and self-made identity. The red hue shifts the narrative from utilitarian to psychological, with the colour reading as suppressed fury, romantic obsession, and emotional volatility. It’s a very clever bit of storytelling through a workwear-inspired contemporary design.

Hidden Passion
Emerald Fennell is just wearing a Burberry leather coat, right? Yes, but once again, this is loaded with symbolism. The red satin lining is the most obvious: hidden passion, with the leather restraining what the lining reveals. And the signature Burberry Equestrian Knight motif offers a nod to the horses that appear in Wuthering Heights, playing significant roles in shaping the characters, highlighting social class differences, and symbolising power, control, and wild nature.

On Theme, But Not Convincing
There is no doubt that Alison Oliver’s Genevieve Devine dress sits firmly in the emotional and visual language of the film, with the soft, sheer layers echoing the bleak romanticism at the heart of Wuthering Heights and the loose, almost unstructured silhouette resisting the idea of strict Victorian propriety.

But I don’t like the dress itself, and the Manolo Blahnik Menki black boots with silver-detailing were a bit of an eyesore for me. Sixteen Stone by Tiffany & Co. earrings and rings completed the look.

I know some of you will likely feel that Hong Chau’s Thom Browne Fall 2025 look has too much going on, especially for someone so petite, but I love how she is not afraid to mix things up. We saw from the LA premiere that playfulness is her style, and if we were to put this uniformed look into the context of this film, I would say that it speaks to the emotional excess and psychological intensity.

Holding Back
Shazad Latif kept things simple and casual on this occasion, but I am excited to see what he presents on the red-carpet this evening.

It has been raining all day in London this morning and is likely to continue raining this evening, but I feel that it will just add to the atmosphere for this film
