Heidi Klum Wore Marina Hoermanseder To The 2026 Grammy Awards
Of course Heidi Klum was on the red carpet for the 2026 Grammys. The German model is a near-permanent fixture at major awards ceremonies, rarely missing an opportunity to make an entrance.

There are a lot of people on this red carpet, and Heidi seemed determined to avoid fading into the background, stepping out in a custom Marina Hoermanseder moulded leather dress designed to command attention.
While the craftsmanship is undeniable, the motivation behind the look feels purely performative, which immediately dulls my enthusiasm. This reads less like a fashion moment and more like a calculated provocation.
And let’s be clear, this concept is far from original. The breastplate trend has had the red carpet in a chokehold for some time, and Zendaya’s Balmain leather gown at the Dune Venice Film Festival premiere set a far stronger precedent. That look had context, intention, and a cinematic point of view. This does not.

Here, the dress feels bland and oddly flat, with the hair and makeup doing little to support or elevate the moment. Nothing around the look adds contrast, leaving the concept exposed. Ironically.
Watching her attempt to manoeuvre down the red carpet only heightened the awkwardness, turning what was meant to be bold into something unintentionally comical.
In the end, the spectacle overwhelmed the dress, and the joke was on Heidi. Literally.
