Ariana Grande Wore Vivienne Westwood To The 2026 Golden Globe Awards

I think there was a collective sigh of relief that Ariana Grande skipped out in wearing pink at the 2026 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday.

I personally hit my saturation point at the AFI Awards, where I realised that every possible blush and pastel had already been accounted for.

This black custom Vivienne Westwood gown reset the conversation entirely. It brought Ariana back to herself, not a colour story, not a theme, just presence.

The return of the classic high ponytail only reinforced that feeling. This was familiar Ariana energy.

Some might argue the gown overwhelms her, but for me, volume has always been part of her red carpet DNA.

What I appreciate most is that this look does not try to be clever or coy. It simply works. Swarovski jewels completed the look.
