Jessie Buckley Wore Versace To The ‘Hamnet’ Berlin Premiere
Jessie Buckley was in Berlin last night for the premiere of her latest film, Hamnet, held at the Delphi Filmpalast. The Irish actress — firmly on the awards season circuit and fully aware of the optics that come with that — continued the recalibration of her red carpet identity.

Two months ago at the London Film Festival, Jessie’s style still carried traces of the eclectic, slightly off-beat charm that made her such a refreshing presence. Now, it feels as though she’s wiped the slate clean. Her latest look, a black textured suit from Dario Vitale’s Versace Spring 2026 collection, underscores that shift.
And here’s the thing: I actually like the suit itself. The puckered texture keeps it mildly interesting. But someone compared this press tour to Hilary Clinton’s campaign wardrobe, and I can’t unsee it — even when the label is Versace.
I was genuinely hopeful when Jessie started leaning into something new. Reinvention can be exciting, especially during awards season when actors are trying to telegraph gravitas. But there’s a difference between evolving and erasing, and right now it feels like she’s veering way too far into the latter.
Leave a crumb of what we once knew. A hint of the woman who used to take risks without flattening her presence completely because this steady slide into one subdued look after another is softening the individuality that once made her such a compelling dresser.
Stylist: Danielle Goldberg.
