2025 Governors Awards: Menswear Edition
Weāve covered a few of the menswear from the 2025 Governors Awards already, but here are the remaining stand out looks from Sunday’s red carpet.

Peacock-Blue Perfection
I actually said āwowā out loud when I saw Dwayne Johnson in this Dolce & Gabbana suit. The peacock-blue hue is spectacularānot just because it sets him apart in a sea of black (and the occasional brown), but because itās rich, vibrant and perfect for his skin tone. Heās been having a brilliant, quietly consistent year on the red carpet, and this might be one of his best menswear looks so far. Chopard accessories rounded things off smoothly.
Styled by Ilaria Urbinati.

Chocolate, Meet Cheese
Damson Idris looked absolutely delicious in his Ralph Lauren chocolate-brown suit. Iām especially grateful for the satin lapels and matching bow tie, which helped the hue feel extra rich. But the velvet RL slippers? The monogram pushes it into novelty territory. Chocolate and cheese simply donāt go together, and thatās exactly how the styling felt.

Elegance On Autopilot
Colin Farrell looked as elegant as ever in his Dolce & Gabbana Made-to-Measure tux featuring satin shawl lapels. At this point, Iām convinced Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana are sketching designs for him in their sleep. Heās their perfect muse.

Turtleneck Minimalism
Gael GarcĆa Bernal wore a Maison Margiela Icons black tuxedo styled with a black turtleneckāan unexpectedly sleek twist that softened the formality in a very cool, very European way.

Old Hollywood Energy
Jacob Elordiās custom Bottega Veneta tux brought a faint touch of Golden Age charm thanks to the silk twill necktie. Paired with Bottega Veneta Roma shoes and Cartier accessories, the whole thing felt very suave.
Styled by Wendi Ferreira and Nicole DeJulio.

Peachy
Jonathan Bailey chose Prada, opting for a charcoal double-breasted suit paired with a peach shirt and black leather boots. Itās a palette you donāt often see in menswear, but the softness of the shirt added great contrast.
Styled by Emma Jade Morrison.

Tie Twist
Wagner Moura wore a Bottega Veneta grain de poudre suit with a leather tieāmodern, unfussy and subtly stylish.
