Jenna Ortega Wore Ann Demeulemeester To Netflix’s ‘Wednesday’ FYC Event
Just when we thought we had all graduated Nevermore Academy and submitted our final term papers, Jenna Ortega reminded us there may still be a late assignment or two left on the syllabus. She attended a Netflix FYC event for Wednesday, and stylistically, she picked up where she left off — but with a shift in tone.

The look comes from Ann Demeulemeester Fall 2025: a striped waistcoat paired with oversized, trip-hazard trousers. It carries that familiar brooding undercurrent we associate with Jenna’s Wednesday era, but it’s noticeably less theatrical. The tailoring feels looser, the attitude more off-duty than character-role.
Layered over a charcoal sweater the waistcoat loses the severity it held on the runway, gaining a more lived-in, en-route-to-an-indie-band-concert sensibility.

The eyeliner and cool-toned lip still telegraph her dark-romantic aesthetic, but the effect is softer, more relaxed. And yes — the eyebrows are still on hiatus. At this point, their return might deserve its own press release.
This look doesn’t feel like Jenna playing Wednesday; it feels like Jenna acknowledging the era, absorbing it, and wearing the influence in a way that feels personal rather than performative — a point many of you who felt her press tour looks were too thematic will appreciate.
Stylist: Enrique Melendez.
