Emma Stone made a guest appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where she promoted her new film Bugonia, which premiered the night before.
The actress brought a refreshing dose of nostalgia to late-night dressing, stepping out in a vintage Donna Karan 1996 ensemble featuring a buttonless green blouse and matching midi skirt — the very same look Gwyneth Paltrow wore in Great Expectations.
It’s a striking departure from the typical late-night little black dress, and it’s wonderful to see Emma exploring other fashion avenues beyond her usual Louis Vuitton looks. The soft, fluid silhouette carried an understated sensuality, while the minimalist design allowed the bold green shade to take centre stage — a colour that perfectly complements her copper-red hair.
This vintage revival felt like a love letter to ’90s simplicity — elegant, effortless, and timeless.
She finished the look with Manolo Blahnik Susa mules, grounding the vintage moment with a modern touch.
