Solange Knowles Wore Fendi For The USC Thornton Event
Solange Knowles attended the USC Thornton School of Music event, where she was officially appointed as the institution’s “Scholar-In-Residence” in collaboration with her creative platform, Saint Heron.

For the occasion, Solange paired a brown suede top with a distinctive leather chevron-striped skirt and matching Arco boots from the Fendi Fall 2025 collection.
While the bold pattern instantly draws the eye, I found the matching boots a touch excessive — the stripes are powerful enough to stand on their own. There’s no denying the look channels Solange’s signature balance of intellect, artistry, and individuality, but to really sell this entire look to me, I would have preferred a simpler boot — in brown to complement the top — to let the skirt have its solo moment.
You may remember that we previously saw these stripes on Jenna Ortega at the Wednesday Season 2, Part 2 Island Fan Event back in August, where she styled her look with brown boots.
What are your thoughts on Solange’s styling?
Stylist: Danielle Goldberg.
