Ayo Edebiri Wore The Row Promoting ‘After The Hunt’

Ayo Edebiri was spotted in New York City today promoting her new film, After The Hunt, and the first thing that caught my attention was her hair.

The new curls instantly gave her a softer, fresher outlook, adding a touch of playfulness to her presence. I’m even getting major ‘80s Whitney Houston vibes from this cut—it has that same buoyant energy that feels full of personality.

The freshness didn’t stop at her hair. For the occasion, Ayo stepped out in a look from The Row’s Spring 2026 collection—Danielle Goldberg’s sixth pull from the new season—which couldn’t have been more perfect for daytime promo. The oversized white shirt, styled with loose athletic-inspired shorts, had those effortless, slouchy proportions that The Row does so well. Draping a black knit casually over her shoulders added another layer of ease. It’s understated chic with a sporty New York edge.

And while I’m usually not a big fan of black heels, here they worked. The pointed pumps instantly elevated the look, steering it away from “fresh off the court” and into press junket ready territory.

What many of you will be most pleased about is that Ayo hasn’t ditched the other labels that shaped her fashion identity in favour of going all-in on Chanel. She’s still mixing in designers like The Row, keeping her wardrobe fluid and true to herself.

Stylist: Danielle Goldberg.
