Zoë Kravitz Wore Saint Laurent To Jessica McCormack’s New York Celebration

Jessica McCormack and Zoë Kravitz marked a glittering moment in New York as they celebrated the London-based jeweller’s stateside expansion with an intimate evening at The Frick Collection.

You might have noticed during Zoë’s Caught Stealing press tour that Jessica McCormack’s jewellery became almost a second skin for her—she barely stepped on a red carpet without it. Lately, she’s also been deep in her slip-dress era, and this Saint Laurent black lace-trimmed number is a reminder of how good that formula can be. The ivory slip she wore in Paris for her premiere felt a little flat, but here the mood shifts—it’s sexier, sharper, and far more at home in this setting.

With Danielle Goldberg now steering her style, you can feel the deliberate nods to icons like Kate Moss in her early Calvin Klein days or Courtney Love’s disheveled glamour. Both were very different muses, but Zoë seems to be pulling from inspiration their archives while still keeping it completely her own.

Shailene Woodley, on the other hand, went casual in a white tee and Dolce & Gabbana leopard print calf-hair trousers. I know the animal print split is real—you either love it or hate it—but I’m firmly in the love camp. I just wish the top had been a little more elevated. Gianvito Rossi pumps completed the look.
