Lisa’s first Emmys red carpet appearance was everything I hoped it would be—elegant, surprising, and completely her own.

She could’ve stayed in the comfort zone of custom Louis Vuitton, especially after wearing the label during The White Lotus press tour, but instead she switched lanes with Lever Couture, and that choice made the moment feel fresh.

The pink gown was instantly recognisable as Lever Couture, with its strips of mesh fabric layered and looped into soft volume. I liked that it wasn’t trying too hard to be dramatic—it floated, it framed her, and it felt light while still being sculptural.

What made the colour choice even more meaningful was that it wasn’t just any pink. It was a nod to the pink lotus flower—a deeply significant symbol in Thai culture. Pink lotuses represent Buddha’s earthly presence, with the bud symbolising one’s spiritual journey and a fully bloomed flower representing enlightenment. Lisa also embraced pink earlier this year at The White Lotus Bangkok premiere, so this colour now feels like her own subtle thread of storytelling.

Her Bvlgari Serpenti necklace with pink stones, the coordinating bracelet and earrings, and even the pink Christian Louboutin Miss Z Strass pumps turned this into a complete monochrome vision.
