Georgina Rodriguez Wore Roberto Cavalli To The Filming Italy Venice Award

The newly engaged Georgina Rodriguez graced the Filming Italy Venice Award delegation red carpet during the 2025 Venice Film Festival on Sunday.

Without a stylist in tow, Georgina reportedly worked directly with Fausto Puglisi on this custom Roberto Cavalli creation — a black velvet macramé lace slip dress that, at first glance, feels very true to her love of sleek, body-conscious silhouettes.

On paper — and in the sketch — this dress was a strong idea. Georgina, much like Kim Kardashian, gravitates towards sultry, curve-skimming designs, so the concept absolutely fits. Where it falters, however, is in the execution of the lining. For a custom look, you’d expect the underlayer to be matched seamlessly to her skin tone, creating that almost-sheer illusion these dresses are designed for. Instead, the contrast dulled some of the magic.

Pasquale Bruni jewels, including the Rosina high jewellery collier in 18k white gold with diamonds, rubies and pink sapphires, along with a dazzling set of rings completed her look, but of course, her biggest statement piece remains her mega engagement ring from fiancé Cristiano Ronaldo, which outshone everything else.
