Miley Cyrus Stars in Maison Margiela Autumn Winter 2025 Campaign
Maison Margiela has unveiled its Autumn-Winter 2025 Avant-Première Collection, and at the heart of it is none other than Miley Cyrus, photographed by Paolo Roversi in a series of dreamlike portraits.
Stripped back and luminous, Miley is styled in the Maison’s signatures — deconstructed tailoring, second-skin layers, and the iconic Tabi boots. In some images, she appears painted in white, a nod to Margiela’s famous bianchetto technique, where objects and garments are overpainted to reveal the passage of time beneath. “All I wore was body paint and the painted Tabi boots,” Miley explained. “In that moment, Margiela and I became one.”

The collection itself reads like a meditation on memory. Margiela leans into the beauty of clothes that look lived-in — fabrics deliberately crinkled, pressed, and faded as though carried through generations. A navy reversible coat comes lined with tartan, while wool mohair suits are treated to mimic the sun-bleached effect of years of wear. Even shirting and tailoring are hand-greased to add a whisper of history.

Accessories receive their own transformation. The beloved 5AC bag is reinterpreted in soft, tactile leather, while the new Dress-Age tote and hobo refine everyday classics in black, burgundy, and chestnut tones. Footwear spans sculptural pumps to vintage-worn derbies, alongside a revival of Margiela’s spiked racing sneakers in bold new shades.
