Alaïa All Day: Vanessa Kirby’s Triple Hit Press Day in NYC

With The Fantastic Four: First Steps gearing up for its global release, Vanessa Kirby made one final promotional splash in New York—serving three Alaïa looks during a whirlwind press junket.

She kicked things off with a nod to TFFFS blue, donning a ruched, high-neck Alaïa number that hugged her figure in a silhouette we’ve seen her lean into throughout this tour—and it’s easy to see why. As maternity style goes, Vanessa is keeping things streamlined and unfussy, with a clear preference for simplicity over fussy detailing. Metallic blue Aquazzura So Nude sandals added more interest, with the Givenchy cat-eye shades keeping the look fresh and modern.

Next up was Vanessa at her most Vanessa. This black fitted Alaïa dress felt like a return to her comfort zone. The halter neckline and crochet detailing gave the dress subtle texture, and when layered with a sharp blazer, strappy sandals, and a Ferragamo Hug bag, the look was effortlessly refined — polished yet unmistakably cool, and exactly the kind of understated power dressing she does best.

Late Night with Seth Meyers

Keeping the high-neck, long-sleeve theme alive for her final stop, Vanessa slipped into another open-knit number — this time from Alaïa — and I can’t be the only one getting subtle Dolce & Gabbana energy from it. You weren’t entirely convinced by her blue mesh moment at the LA premiere, so tell me: does the sharper styling here — with the structured The Row Indra overcoat, Aquazzura You and I sandals and that sleek Givenchy Antigona East West bag — win you over this time?

Stylist: Andrew Mukamal.
