Dakota Johnson Wore Gucci To The ‘Materialists’ New York Premiere

Dakota Johnson attended the New York premiere of her film Materialists, and yes—you’ll be pleased to hear this dress is not sheer. But it’s still very much Dakota.

The actress served up a dose of understated allure in a black dress from Gucci, suspended from a scarf. While she may have left the see-through trend behind for the night, there was still a backless moment to keep things interesting.

The dress was completely open at the back, held in place by Gucci’s signature gold horse-bit hardware, giving us that expected flash of sensuality—but in a far more refined way.

She kept the styling minimal with Messika jewellery, Saint Laurent sandals. It’s moody, it’s sleek, and typically sensual for Dakota.
