Celebrities at the 2025 Tony Awards
Here is a roundup from the rest of the notable looks from the 2025 Tony Awards, where the red carpet was a full-blown production of glamour, drama, and bold fashion choices at Radio City Music Hall on Sunday.

Sequins & chiffon? Win Win
Nicole Scherzinger took home the Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical for her riveting portrayal of Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard. Her Rodarte strapless gown may have been covered in sequins, but it was the chiffon reverse scarf-turned-train that elevated the drama.

It had just the right amount of theatricality for the night, paired perfectly with Kwiat Jewels.

Modern fairytale
Auli’i Cravalho continues to be the queen of modern princess moments. This time, she wore a vibrant Carolina Herrera Resort 2025 orange and pink strapless ball gown was as mesmerizing as a sunset. Neil Lane jewels added sparkle to a look that felt fresh, fun, yet very Tony Awards.

Carrie Red
Carrie Preston’s rich red strapless gown with puff sleeves and a cape from Flora on Madison brought just the right amount of theatrical drama for the Tonys. Striking that sweet spot between Old Hollywood glamour and modern Broadway flair.

Florals? Groundbreaking — when done right
Cecily Strong embraced bold spring florals in a belted Badgley Mischka mermaid gown. The vibrant print made a statement, but the real applause goes to whoever tailored this. The hemline was perfection — take notes, everyone.

A full production in one outfit
Cole Escola didn’t just show up in a dress — they brought the entire concept of theatre with them in a corseted Wiederhoeft gown that felt part-costume, part-couture, all drama. It was extravagant, completely in tune with the occasion, and impossible to ignore.

Understated
Ella Beatty opted for understated luxury with a black silk knit top and trousers from the Chanel Resort 2026 collection. It was minimalist, sleek, and styled with Chanel Fine Jewelry.

Bridgerton meets Broadway
Fina Strazza’s Michael Fausto gown whispers of the past—where Regency grace meets Victorian grandeur, all swept into a modern fairytale.

Disco ball on a dancefloor
Haley Kalil returned to Marc Bouwer, this time channeling full Studio 54 glamour. Her silver cut-out gown shimmered with disco-era energy—bold, sultry, and ready for the spotlight.

A pastel dream with a dose of sparkle
Helen J. Shen’s Pamella Roland Spring 2025 pistachio silk chiffon gown was all about soft movement. The silver embellished neckline brought just enough drama, and Fred Leighton and Kwiat Jewels sealed the deal.

Golden girl glow-up
Joy Woods lit up the red carpet in an Elie Saab gold long sleeve dress embroidered with geometric sequin motifs from the Spring 2025 collection. It was radiant, statuesque, and red carpet gold in every sense.

The art of the transformation
Kara Young gave us two looks in one thanks to her custom Thom Browne ensemble. What started as a structured, high-drama tuxedo moment with a voluminous high-low black skirt…

…transformed into a sleek, elegant dress as she took the stage to accept her Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Play award for Purpose. David Webb jewels and bejewelled heels added flair to both phases of the look.

Classic elegance with modern touches
Kelli O’Hara was the epitome of elegance in a black satin strapless gown from Ines di Santo. Styled with Kwiat and Fred Leighton jewellery and a Judith Leiber clutch, she showed that simple doesn’t mean boring. This was one of my favourites on the night.

Let the fringe do the talking
LaChanze wore a bronze Karen Millen halter neck dress that shimmered with every step. The fringe made it playful, flirty, and full of movement — red carpet fun at its best.

Midnight romance with vintage vibes
Laura Donnelly’s semi-sheer midnight blue Honor gown featured delicate puff sleeves and was styled with Verdura’s Bow Knot earclips and diamond Turban ring. It was moody, and romantic in equal measures.

A tuxedo with a twist
Lea Michele looked sharp in her custom Michael Kors Collection black halter tuxedo jacket and pleated chiffon slit skirt. EFFY Jewelry added a dash of sparkle, but the overall vibe was a bit too pared back for this kind of night.

All that jazz — and tulle
Megan Hilty’s Pamella Roland Resort 2026 champagne gown was dripping in beading and old-school cabaret glamour. It’s not my personal favourite, but it ticked the Broadway theatricality box with David Webb jewels adding more sparkle.

Shattered mirror magic
Michelle Williams stood out in her Bibhu Mohapatra Fall 2025 gown. The mirror embellishments added an edge to the classic black silhouette — modern, and moody.

Flapper Inspo
Renee Elise Goldsberry chose a Donna Karan black dress dripping in embellishments, styled with Rene Caovilla pumps and Fred Leighton jewels. Understated but effective.

The necklace saves the day
Sanaz Toossi’s strapless Heirlome dress leaned a little too simple, but her Fred Leighton necklace saved the entire look. It brought focus, depth, and luxury, while her Manolo Blahnik sandals tied things up neatly.

Surprising softness
I’m used to seeing Sarah Snook in black or dark jewel tones, so this beaded champagne-hued Richard Quinn dress was a departure. I loved the silhouette, but I’m still on the fence about the colour. It could be on account of it being a shock to the system. Chopard jewels completed the look.

Spring in full bloom
Stephanie Styles brought florals and freshness in her green and blue off-the-shoulder Sachin & Babi Kennedy gown. Matching blue pumps and a feathered clutch added charm and whimsy.

Green goddess moment
Tala Ashe stunned in a lush green Reem Acra off-the-shoulder gown. Fred Leighton jewels and a Zazi bag completed a look that was effortlessly elegant.
