Loewe Foundation Honors Craft Excellence at 2025 Craft Prize Ceremony
LOEWE celebrated the 2025 edition of its prestigious LOEWE FOUNDATION Craft Prize with an elegant ceremony at the Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum in Madrid, awarding Kunimasa Aoki for Realm of Living Things 19. Special mentions went to Nifemi Marcus-Bello and Studio Sumakshi Singh.
The event drew a constellation of notable guests all dressed in Loewe, reflecting the brand’s seamless intersection of craftsmanship and contemporary fashion.
Pulling Focus—Literally
As much as I love Ayo Edebiri’s Loewe look, I’m not entirely convinced she loved those khaki trousers. She didn’t need to physically pull them out to make her point—I was already on board as I love the cool, unexpected vibe of the look.
Neo Goth Girl Tries Pastels
Milena Smit ditched her signature dark romance and stepped into a soft-focus Loewe check print look. I admire the attempt, but I’m not sure this one plays to her strengths. The high-rise skirt throws the proportions off a bit too much for me.
Feather Trim Fantasia
Meg Ryan is probably my favourite here. The way that feather print is realised down the side of her dress? Clever, and peak Loewe elegance.
Draped Denim back again
Aitana Sanchez took on the Loewe draped denim trousers—yes, the ones we’ve seen quite a few times now—and I have to say, this is one of the stronger outings. Fit and styling make all the difference.
Colour Pop Queen
Ellie Bamber clearly said, “Let the bag do the talking,” and her red Loewe accessory certainly made its voice heard against an otherwise all-black ensemble.
Toy Pumps
If you’re not a fan of the Loewe Toy pumps, consider this your warning: Lesley Manville fully embraced them, pairing the playful heels with the brand’s iconic Puzzle bag for her look.
Florals for Spring, Shoes for… Debate?
I was very much into Úrsula Corberó’s Loewe floral print twisted dress—it’s bold and flattering—but then my eyes hit the shoes and, well, my enthusiasm took a hit.
