Margaret Qualley Wore Chanel To The ‘Honey Don’t!’ Cannes Film Festival Photocall
Margaret Qualley saved her best for last at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, stepping out for the final photocall of her film Honey Don’t! in what might just be her most unexpectedly modern red carpet look to date.

Wearing a sleek black leather halter column dress from Chanel Resort 2026, Margaret left the girlish charm at home and gave us clean lines, sharp edges and effortless cool instead. This wasn’t one tweed moments we would have had this time last year. This was a straight shot of contemporary chic—and it suited her so well.

What really elevated this look was the removal of the embellishments we saw on the runway, and the impeccable styling. The slicked-back bun gave the leather dress room to shine, while the Chanel Coco Crush gold hoop earrings and Premiere Édition Originale watch completed her look. Everything felt purposeful and pulled together, but not try-hard.

There’s something very exciting about seeing Margaret lean into a look that feels fresh and directional. She’s always been a Chanel girl, but I’m thoroughly enjoying this new chapter.
