Jodie Foster Wore Loewe To The ‘Vie Privée’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere
Jodie Foster isn’t one for dramatic red carpet reinventions, and at the Cannes Film Festival premiere of her new film Vie Privée (A Private Life), she proved once again that quiet confidence is its own kind of showstopper.

Wearing a silver Loewe draped silk satin gown, she remained firmly in her minimalist lane—but with a twist. The shell charm detail added a playful edge, while the asymmetrical draping and high neckline offered a touch of structure. It’s not loud, but it’s far from boring.
She may usually gravitate toward darker tones, but this silvery hue felt like a subtle shift without going too far off course. And between the draped sleeve and silhouette, there’s more than a passing resemblance to a certain galaxy-famous princess. Intentional or not, it gave the look a little cinematic nostalgia.
It’s calm, composed, and very much her.
