Celebrities in Sergio Hudson at the 2025 Met Gala
When tailoring is the theme, you just knew that Sergio Hudson was going to be represent for the 2025 Met Gala. Known for his vibrant takes on classic suiting, Sergio pulled together a crew of sharply dressed stars who gave us everything from playful pinstripes to power gowns with personality. His ability to balance sophistication and fun felt completely aligned with Superfine: Tailoring Black Style—and his guests delivered in looks that spoke volumes.

Girl Boss
Quinta Brunson’s pinstripe corset dress was the Sergio Hudson standout. I actually preferred it with the oversized men’s jacket for maximum contrast, but I get why she ditched it—this silhouette deserves its own solo moment.

Sultry but structured, it played into the tailoring theme beautifully, without losing her signature sass.
David Yurman jewels completed her look.

Draped in purple, wrapped in elegance
Rachel Brosnahan’s partnership with Sergio Hudson continues to thrive. This royal purple strapless column gown with silk collar detailing was a masterclass in clean lines and elegance. And after the controversy of her 2023 Met Gala look, this felt like a regal redemption. Dare I say muse status has been achieved?

Practically perfect in every Hudson way
Jamie Singer Soros delivered full Mary Poppins-core in her cobalt blue double-breasted blazer Sergio Hudson gown. From the tilted hat to the gloves and tie, it was whimsical without veering into costume. A little sparkle, a lot of attitude, and completely on-brand for a Met moment.

Simple, yet chic
Adrienne Warren kept things simple in a white organza ruffled blouse tucked into a black corseted cummerbund skirt. Clean, crisp, and theatrical in the best way, this was red carpet tailoring with Broadway energy.

Family flex
Stevie Wonder made it a family affair in black embellished Sergio Hudson, standing proudly beside his wife, Tomeeka Robyn Bracy, who matched in an off-the-shoulder crystal gown with gloves. Their son, Kailand Morris, added flair in a double-breasted tuxedo cinched with an embroidered corset belt.

Tailored tech with a heritage twist
John Imah’s lavender Sergio Hudson suit under a hand-embroidered coat was inspired by his tech background and Nigerian roots—proof that tailoring can tell a story as much as it shapes a silhouette.
And finally, the maestro himself
Sergio Hudson’s navy and pink pinstripe blazer, pink trousers and an bolder pink overcoat. It was classic Sergio—tailored, and totally chic. The definition of dressing with confidence and character, with dandy accessories amplifying the theme.
