Kerry Washington Wore Simkhai To The 2025 Met Gala 

After a whirlwind, so so, Shadow Force press tour, Kerry Washington arrived at the 2025 Met Gala with something to prove.

Wearing a custom Simkhai ensemble featuring a bespoke jacket and sheer skirt, Kerry served a mix of modern craftsmanship with a timeless, almost cinematic silhouette. The jacket’s structured tailoring gave us strong lines and clean precision, while the fluid skirt added movement, airiness, and yes, a touch of controversy due to it’s sheerness.

Did that kill the vibe?

The real charm? That custom hat from Binata Millinery, hand-dyed to match the exact pantone of her Simkhai look. It gave a subtle nod to the dandy movement. Delicate lace gloves that added an old-school, almost theatrical touch, it felt like an ensemble with real storytelling behind it.

If you were still debating the sheer skirt, the moment she turned around and revealed a backless cut showcasing her diamond Chopard necklace casually draped probably sealed the deal.
