Julia Louis-Dreyfus Wore David Koma, Sergio Hudson & Michael Kors Collection Promoting ‘Thunderbolts*’

While all eyes might be on Florence Pugh (and rightfully so), Thunderbolts* is proving to be a two-woman style showcase thanks to Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who has been serving all week with a trio of looks that have me rethinking everything I thought I knew about the actress’ style.

LA Premiere

Let’s start with the jaw-dropper. Julia hit the Thunderbolts* LA premiere wearing a black David Koma gown from the Resort 2025 collection. Now, illusion panels are usually the enemy – distracting, unnecessary, and often awkward – but it was thankfully removed, which immediately elevated the entire look. The result? A sultrier, sculpted neckline with the designer’s signature embellishments providing the perfect amount of sparkle. Honestly, I didn’t know Julia had this in her locker. This is probably the boldest I’ve ever seen her on a red carpet, and it paid off tenfold.

For her late night TV appearance, Julia showed up shimmering in a gold sequinned Sergio Hudson halterneck dress. With so many celebs defaulting to black for these late night (Florence included), Julia said “absolutely not” and lit up the studio like the Fourth of July.

New York Screening

For her third outing, Julia returned to her chic, classic roots in a floral chiné silk-and-wool sheath dress from the Spring 2025 Michael Kors Collection—sleek and beautifully understated. Yes, the bodice appears a little baggy, but it might just need a bit of grooming. Nonetheless, the dress feels perfectly at home in a New York screening setting. It’s familiar territory for Julia, but that doesn’t make it boring—it simply underscores her range.

Three looks, three wins, and a fresh reminder that Julia Louis-Dreyfus is not just funny — she’s fashion-savvy, too.
