Elle Fanning Wore Coach To The AFI Life Achievement Award Ceremony
Before the madness of the Met Gala and Cannes kicks off, Elle Fanning gave us a much-needed dose of red carpet sweetness at the AFI Life Achievement Award Ceremony honouring Francis Ford Coppola in Hollywood on Saturday.

Wearing a custom Coach silk satin tea-length gown in the softest peach hue, the Coach Global Ambassador reminded everyone why she’s the ultimate modern vintage muse. The Swarovski crystal embroidery, silk tulle, and satin lace-back corset were delicate, dreamy details that felt entirely in step with her signature style.

Creative Director Stuart Vevers clearly had a direct line to Elle’s fashion soul with this design. Honestly, not to steal any of Stuart’s thunder, but if someone had asked me to dream up a dress for Elle, this would have been it too. Romantic, whimsical, and completely aligned with Elle’s ethereal aesthetic — it’s practically stitched into her fashion DNA.

The vintage mood was elevated further with Cartier jewels and a sparkling diamond hair clip nestled into her classic bun, creating the kind of timeless glamour we always hope for with Elle. Silver Paul Andrew peep-toes rounded off the look.
