Kerry Washington Wore Christopher John Rogers To The Atlanta Film Festival

Kerry Washington attended the 2025 Annual Atlanta Film Festival where her new film Shadow Force was presented, and you know I’m always ready to sing her praises. My love for Kerry and her style has been well documented here over the years, but this Christopher John Rogers Fall 2025 tri-colour dress left me genuinely puzzled.

I had to pause and ask myself — why did this go so wrong?

First off, the hairstyle. It feels dated and ageing on Kerry, doing her no favours alongside a dress that’s supposed to be full of modern attitude. And while the red, burgandy and cerulean blue strapless dress had all the promise in its cuts and colour blocking, Kerry seemed to be battling with it rather than owning it. The fit was off, and then, the white pumps. A truly perplexing choice that only added to the imbalance.

Kerry’s fashion rollercoaster continues. I just wish this look had felt a little less laboured and a lot more effortless.

A total fashion reboots is needed.
