Celebrities at the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show
Notable appearances on the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runway included fashion icons Kate Moss, making her VS debut, and Tyra Banks, returning to close the show after a 19-year hiatus. But we are here to talk about the pink carpet which was, as expected—overflowing with sheer lingerie-inspired looks and bold fashion statements.
Diesel Drama
The two-time Olympic Gold Medalist, Suni Lee looked beautiful in a Diesel D-Floretta maxi pencil dress from the Fall 2024 collection that brilliantly fused leopard-print technical jersey with floral georgette, using an experimental devoré technique. The rawness of the burned-away patches combined with the intricate zig-zag stitching made this look the most original on the pink carpet, while perfectly honouring the spirit of the show. This was easily the best look of the night for me.
The Queen of Lingerie
Jodie Turner-Smith proved that lingerie looks don’t have to be basic. Wearing a green coat and placed belts over a lace Gucci corset, she elevated the idea of boudoir dressing to something far more sophisticated and intriguing, easily outshining other attempts on this carpet. Aquazzura shoes completed her look.
Crochet Chic
American basketball star Angel Reese stepped out in a Diotima Spring 2025 crochet dress, where the success of the look was all about layering. The texture and detail of the crochet created a beautiful complexity while adding dimension.
The Iconic Pass
Cher arrived in a tailored and leather look from The Attico’s Spring 2025 collection that, while overwhelming in its mix of colours, textures and styling, carried the signature flair only she could pull off. Let’s be honest, anyone else attempting those trousers would be unforgivable—but Cher? She gets a pass.
The Expected
Coco Jones went with a sheer lace Naked Wardrobe dress, one of the predictable choices for this event. Fortunately, her choice of accessories saved the look, preventing it from slipping into the too-obvious territory.
Sequins and Satin with a Miss
Ice Spice stepped out in a lingerie-inspired sequined mini dress, topped off with pink satin Marc Jacobs Kiki platform boots. While this look certainly hit the mark for the event, the visible black thong was a distracting.
Mistaken Identity
La La Anthony, dressed in Kamilla Purshie, had me thinking this was Phaedra Parks that a double-take was necessary. The similarity between the two was almost uncanny. Dolce & Gabbana lace boots, Saint Laurent earrings and Alexis Bittar bracelets completed her look.
Chocolate Chic
Madison Bailey embraced the season’s hottest colour—chocolate brown—pairing her Ermanno Scervino lace bustier gown with matching chocolate satin Black Suede Studio crystal pumps. The monochromatic look was a triumph.
Oversized Blazer Moment
Olivia Culpo made a well-timed entrance into the oversized blazer trend in this AREA flower corsage oversized blazer.
Tailored Perfection
In contrast to many others, Phoebe Dynevor opted for a fitted Michael Kors Collection Spring 2025 tailored playsuit. This body-hugging look was sleek, simple, and refreshingly original for a red carpet flooded with sheer and barely-there dresses. Aquazzura shoes completed her look.
While the Victoria’s Secret pink carpet did see its fair share of expected outfits, a few stars like Suni Lee, Jodie Turner-Smith, and Phoebe Dynevor managed to bring a fresh, dynamic take to the event’s fashion.
