Victoria’s Secret Viewing Party

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon feature the Victoria's Secret Viewing Party

The 2018 Victoria’s Secret Show aired in the US on Sunday (December 3), and the Angels gathered in New York City to watch the fruits of their labour play out on the big screen at a viewing party.

Elsa Hosk: The leggy blonde was oozing the kinda sex appeal we expect from a model wearing a stunning Fannie Schiavoni ‘Lola’ ombre mesh dress styled with pretty pink sandals.

Herieth Paul: Shining so bright like a diamond in a Dsquared2 silver suit, the model – who blew me away – styled her look with Jack Vartanian jewels.

Nadine Leopold: There was more magic and sparkle to be had on this red carpet with Nadine looking breath-taking in a pink sequined fringed mini by from Cristahlea’s Spring 2019 collection, which she styled with Stuart Weitzman’s ‘Bareitall’ sandals.

2018 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show After-Party

2018 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show After-Party

The 2018 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show took place in New York on Thursday (November 8), with a performance from Rita Ora.

Following the show was the after-party; where a host of models served up the expected sheer, mini and slashed dresses, but there were also a few surprises.

Candice Swanepoel: The model was looking not-so angelic in Khyeli Spring 2019 Couture. As sheer dresses go, I love the beaded detailing.

Liu Wen: The model never goes the sheer route, but she did on this occasion wearing a look from Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini’s Spring 2019 collection.

Toni Garrn: This golden girl managed to leave something to the imagination in her draped chain metal dress styled with Giuseppe Zanotti sandals.

Rita Ora In Versace – 2018 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show

Rita Ora In Versace - 2018 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

All eyes were on Londoner Rita Ora at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Manhattan on Thursday (November 8), where she donned two Versace looks.

Red Carpet: The singer first look hails from the legendary Spring 2018 Tribute collection as worn by Naomi Campbell. I love the way Rita paid homage to Donatella in this iconic gold chainmail gown with her super long blonde tresses, and how the look felt dynamic but not over the top with gold Versace sandals completing her look along with a natural body glow by Vita Liberata.

Performance: Speaking of going over the top, the singer performed her single ‘Let You Love Me’ as models – including Stella Maxwell and Gigi Hadid – stalked the mirrored runway wearing her second Versace look. The Swarovski crystal accented custom-made, bodysuit with nude illusion inserts was perfectly on brand for the lingerie fashion show, but the layers of iconic gold Versace chains took this into overkill territory. The take one, or five off rule really needed to apply here. Swarovski crystal-encrusted thigh-high boots, and a stylish coordinating Versace cap rounded out the look.

2017 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show After Show Party

The 2017 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show After Party took place on Monday (November 20) in Shanghai, China, with a wide ranging mix of styles.

I decided to split them into categories this year staring with: My Favourites.

Cindy Bruna: This Brandon Maxwell Spring 2017 suit originally stormed the runway with a blouse, but Cindy made the look her own by opting to go without.  The excessive boobage might turn off some, but I’m more intrigued by the impeccable tailoring.

Maria Borges: I’m a huge fan of Maria’s style, but I was blown away when she opted to wear this Tiffany Amber gown which proudly showcased her African roots. The dress, the belt and head wrap are gorgeous, but it’s the ‘going against the grain’ statement which I find most endearing.

Jourdana Phillips: You can’t get much chicer than a cream tuxedo dress styled with gold Giuseppe Zanotti rose-gold sandals.

2015 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show After Party

2015 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show After Party

Following their strenuous two-show shift, the models of the 2015 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show headed to TAO Downtown for the after-party on Tuesday (November 10) in New York City.

Kendall Jenner: It’s rare to see Kendall smiling, but she had a lot to be happy about as this was her first show for the lingerie brand. The model swept the runway wearing a sheer Versace green gown with cut-out details and a thigh-high slit; naturally, which didn’t follow the black or white dress code worn by most of the models. The look was styled with Jimmy Choo ‘Lance’ sandals.

Maria Borges: The beautiful model was also in great spirits wearing a floral print Gabriela Cadena Spring 2016 strapless dress with ruffle sleeves. A dress as short as this could’ve come off as tacky, but the print keeps the look fresh and vibrant, plus who wouldn’t be charmed by that gorgeous smile?

Gigi Hadid: While her cut-out look appears to be a dress, it’s actually comprised of a House of CB ‘Malla’ bodysuit and Sally LaPointe Fall 2015 double slit skirt. She is showing a lot of skin, but for a VS after party look some would consider this tame. Tamara Mellon ‘Glow’ patent sandals provided the finishing touch.

Selena Gomez In Louis Vuitton, Jolibe Atelier & Mugler – 2015 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show

Selena Gomez In Louis Vuitton, Jolibe Atelier & Mugler - 2015 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show

On the bill with Ellie Goulding, Selena Gomez was also the guest performer at the 2015 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show held at the Lexington Avenue Armory on Tuesday (November 10) in New York City.

Red Carpet: Starting as she meant go on, the singer donned a sexy Louis Vuitton studded leather dress with the zipper undone to the top of the hip bone. The look was styled with Jimmy Choo ‘Deckle’ sandals.

Performance: Taking the sex appeal she put forth on the red carpet, the singer dialed things up several notches for the performance rocking a Jolibe Atelier gown amped up with Saint Laurent Paris chain accented booties, Louis Vuitton half leather gloves and Messika jewelry. While I have often said I prefer her sweet and youthful side, she totally sells this look to me on this occasion.

Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show After Party: Opting to wear her Jimmy Choo ‘Deckle’ shoes once again, the problem I have with this Mugler mini is a. it doesn’t appear to at all fit well and b. you may remember that Naomie Harris wore the same dress two weeks ago – but better.

You can buy Selena’s Jimmy Choo Deckle Sandals from Neiman Marcus.
