Rita Ora Rocks SEVEN Cherry Red Looks Promoting ‘Descendants: Rise Of The Red’
Rita Ora’s stylist, Pippa Atkinson, is pulling out all the stops for the actress-singer’s press tour of her upcoming film, ‘Descendants: Rise Of The Red,’ showcasing a series of seven red outfits, in addition to the two looks she gave us on Monday.
It’s quite a remarkable feat, especially considering that even Margot Robbie and Zendaya mixed up their press tour palettes with other colours.

SIRIUSXM Exit
Following her guest appearance on SiriusXM, Rita Ora embraced a luxe boho vibe wearing a red Isabel Marant Kapri draped open-back slip dress. She paired the dress with a red Isabel Marant Oskan hobo bag and adorned herself with a selection of jewels from Rainbow K and a chunky silver necklace from EÉRA. This look perfectly blended elegance with a relaxed bohemian flair.

GANSEVOORT HOTEL Exit
Rita’s next look continued her love affair with red leather, undeterred by the heatwave. She stepped out in an ’80s-inspired Rowen Rose Resort 2024 heart-shaped quilted leather jacket. The playful design could easily be mistaken for Moschino due to its whimsical feel. She completed the ensemble with red shades, and Maison Ernest Lidylle mules, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to her red theme.

Exiting Soho House New York
Switching up her styling, Rita stepped out in a dark red dress from Roberto Cavalli’s Fall 2024 collection, which reminded me of Issey Miyake Pleats Please, who are known for their signature pleating technique. Rita styled the dress with black shades and Roberto Cavalli burgundy ankle strap pumps. This look, despite its wintry shade, was one of the lighter fabrics she donned, offering a slight respite from her otherwise heavy ensembles.

Elvis Duran Show
Rita’s fourth look had a deceptive appearance. Initially, her Selezza jacket and matching skirt seemed to be made of shearling, but on closer inspection it turned out to be tulle. This added yet another heavy-looking, yet intricate, outfit to her tour wardrobe, showcasing her penchant for complex textures.

Empire State Building Visit
Rita’s fascination with unusual shapes was on full display in a THEUNISSEN structured velvet jacket dress with curved sleeves from the Fall 2024 collection. This avant-garde piece highlighted her comfort in stepping into more experimental styles, proving once again that embracing bold and innovative designs works well for her.

GANSEVOORT HOTEL Exit
For another stylish exit from her hotel, Rita wore a Georges Hobeika Fall 2023 beaded tulle dress featuring a crepe corset, which we first saw on Rachel Brosnahan back in April 2023. This sultry and glamorous outfit brought a touch of sultry glamour to the streets of Manhattan, completed with an array of red accessories including Jimmy Choo’s Minny sandals.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon
Rita closed the day with a vibrant red Sportmax textured, square-patterned applique dress from the Fall 2024 collection, previously worn by Kerry Washington. Rita’s take on the dress, styled with fewer pieces of jewelry from Chopard and SANTONI strappy sandals, offered a fresh take on this look.

Rita Ora’s unwavering dedication to the colour red throughout her press tour is commendable. Her stylist, Pippa Atkinson, has certainly made a bold statement with these monochromatic looks. However, while the consistency and matchy-matchy moments are appreciated, some might find the heavy, seasonally inappropriate choices perplexing, given the summer heat. Nevertheless, Rita’s all-red press tour has served up many bold and memorable moments, demonstrating her commitment to standing out and staying true to her chosen theme.
