While I was neck deep in Cannes Film Festival photocall, premieres and parties, Anya Taylor-Joy was continuing her promotional efforts for her new film, ‘Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.’

This dress combined simplicity with a modern twist, making it a refreshing choice for those who feel her style can be over the top.
She completed the look with Aquazzura Olie sandals, keeping the ensemble elegant and understated.
LIVE with Kelly and Mark
As you know I am part of the Anya Taylor-Joy fan club, but I couldn’t get on onboard with any facet of this look.
The Chloe knit top was perhaps a little too nude for a breakfast TV show, and the green shorts and boots combo evoked early 2000s fashion reminiscent of Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, and Paris Hilton

Despite the daring lace-up back and short skirt, Anya didn’t change for the interview.
You might be thinking, “Anya only wore this as an arrival look, as she must have changed for the actual sit-down interview.”
Nope. The actress appeared confident and at ease, seamlessly transitioning from arrival to her sit-down interview with Stephen Colbert.
Her dress was styled with Christian Louboutin Iriza pumps and an Elsa Peretti large bone cuff.

In the film, a young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus.
I’m guessing that is what inspired this biker jacket, short and lace top from Khaite’s Spring 2024, and Pre-Fall 2024 collections respectively.
This look felt more cohesive than her LIVE with Kelly and Mark ensemble.
Christian Louboutin So Kate pumps completed her look.
F1 Grand Prix of Monaco
Returning to her biker girl theme, Anya sported a Jean Paul Gaultier x Target cropped biker jacket worn over a black Magda Butrym short jumpsuit.
She completed the look with her classic cat-eye shades from Bottega Veneta, encapsulating a cool and edgy style perfect for the high-energy event.
The standout looks for me are the Marni and Khaite dresses, plus the Khaite biker look.
These ensembles highlighted Anya’s ability to balance elegance with a touch of edginess, perfectly aligning with her promotional activities for her new film.
