Loewe Foundation Studio Voltaire Award

In celebration of the LOEWE FOUNDATION / Studio Voltaire Award’s second edition, LOEWE Creative Director Jonathan Anderson and Studio Voltaire Director Joe Scotland hosted a dinner in London on Tuesday (October 10) with esteemed members of the art and fashion community, as well as VIPs including Luca Guadagnino, Taylor Russell, Dan Levy, Ruth Negga, Jonathan Bailey and Caitriona Balfe.

Coinciding with Frieze London 2023, CASA LOEWE London presents the exhibition Artists Buttons, a Kettle’s Yard project featuring buttons created by ten artists inspired by the recent Kettle’s Yard exhibition Lucie Rie: The Adventure of Pottery supported by the LOEWE FOUNDATION.

We all know how much Taylor Russell loves a backless moment, so this semi-sheer halter dress from Loewe is one to add to her catalogue.

However, this is one I’m aching to see from the front as the drapery looks intriguing.

I was excited to see Jonathan Bailey’s Loewe look until I realised that his trousers didn’t quite meet the height of the Simon Cowell inspired trousers from the Loewe Spring 2024 collection. I’m dying to see someone wear them on the red carpet.

New red head Caitrona Balfe has opted for black for her last few outings, so I was pleasantly surprised to see her break that run with this Loewe blurred print dress from the Fall 2023 collection.

Dan Levy looked as sophisticated as ever wearing a Loewe Anagram-debossed leather shirt.

Ruth Negga was not to be missed in this shaggy jacket.

Luca Guadagnino has been team Prada for a while, so I’m happy to see him back in Loewe.  After all, he has had his best red carpet moments in Loewe. 

Artists Buttons will go on display at CASA LOEWE London from 11 to 15 October 2023.
