Jessica Chastain attended the 2023 CNMI Sustainable Fashion Awards held during Milan Fashion Week on Sunday (September 24).
The actress wore a fresh off the runway look from the new Gucci Spring 2024 collection.
It was new in more ways than one, as Sabato De Sarno’s Gucci debut received mixed reviews, but the Spring 2024 season overall has been a “safe season.”
Personally, I enjoyed the change of pace from Gucci. Clean, with an injection of sexiness here and there.
The changing of the guards at the major fashion houses was likely led by customers wanting more wearable, practical clothes.
Jessica’s backless embellished top and tailored, wide leg trousers showcases that new era.
I’m now wondering if we will see Jessica in those high-octane gowns for major events such as awards season, Met Gala and film festivals.
The Gucci Jackie bag in the colour of the moment – burgundy – completed her look.
