Beyonce’s Renaissance World Tour Wardrobe Is A Big Win For Fashion Houses

Stylist: “What’s the wardrobe budget for this tour?”
Beyonce: “It should cost a billion to look this good.”
And according to the latest reports, they are only $813 million shy, as her stylists Shiona Turini, KJ Moody, Julia Sarr-Jamois, Karen Langley, and Michael Handler have worked with many designers, both established and up-and-coming, to create a tour wardrobe with a media impact value, or MIV, of $187 million so far.

According to launchmetrics, Alexander McQueen won $7.7 million in media impact value, Tiffany & Co. $7.2 million, Balmain garnered $5.6 million and Valentino $3.7 million for placing designs on Beyonce.
If you follow Beyonce on Instagram, you will know that she posts all her looks, yet she doesn’t tag, or mention any of the labels who dress her, so I wonder if this figure would’ve been close to $1b if she had done that.
MIV figures calculate the impact of relevant media placements on all channels (online, social and print), inclusive of paid, owned and earned mediums.

Beyonce has had a break for a few days before putting on a great show for Miami tonight, but I still feel that the September 23 concert date, where she will be performing in her hometown, Houston, will have the biggest impact of them all.
I am expecting fireworks, and a completely new wardrobe.
