During Awards Season, it should not have escaped your notice that Janelle Monáe has stepped into her sexy era with the help of Vera Wang.

For the 2023 Oscars the singer-actress turned to the legendary designers once again, as she created this sultry bustier and draped maxi skirt.

I know I would have loved this look in Janelle’s favoured all black, but the orange adds a touch of dynamism which ensured she was not to be missed on this red carpet.

Some may say this is not “Oscar worthy,” but we’ve always enjoyed Janelle’s free-spirited nature on the red carpet.
