Cate Blanchett Wore Louis Vuitton To The 2023 Oscars

Cate Blanchett attended the 2023 Oscars on Sunday (March 12).

I had been hoping (campaigning) for the actress to re-wear her Armani Privé dress from the 2014 Cannes Film Festival Chopard party, but she opted for Louis Vuitton instead.

The custom blue draped asymmetrical velvet padded shoulder top sold this look to me as there is something about this shade of blue which looks so radiant on Cate.

Louis Vuitton said that this top is from a never-before-seen archival collection, while the skirt is cut from sustainable silk.

It probably not what a lot of us hoped for or expected, however, I truly enamoured by the simple elegance of it all.
