Michelle Yeoh Wore Gucci To The 2023 Film Independent Spirit Awards

Michelle Yeoh collected another award (Best Lead Performance for ‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’) during the 2023 Film Independent Spirit Awards held on Saturday (March 4) in Santa Monica, California.

With her SAG Awards Schiaparelli look being the only look we have collectively failed to love this awards season, I was delighted to see the actress back on track for this event wearing Gucci.

Gucci can be a bit OTT (not always in a good way), and overwrought at times, but the elegance of the midnight blue velvet, and the drama of the sculptural details presented a look that felt both modest and fashion-forward for the actress.

Styled with NIWAKA jewels, the only thing I would change about this look are the ankle straps on her metallic blue Jimmy Choo pumps…and of course that watch.
