Issa Rae Wore AKNVAS To The 2023 NAACP Image Awards

Issa Rae was a guest presenter for the 2023 NAACP Image Awards on Saturday (February 25) in Pasadena, California, where she invited Viola Davis to the stage to receive her Outstanding Performance Award for ‘The Woman King.’

The ‘Insecure’ actress wore a custom AKNVAS look created by Danish designer Christian Juul Nielsen who is known for expressing femininity in the most elegant manner, as demonstrated with this gown.

We’re used to much bolder hues from Issa as warm tones have always looked amazing on her skin, but with Spring just around the corner, this look has come at the most perfect time.

Le Silla strappy embellished sandals and GISMONDI 1754 jewels completed her look.
